Genevieve's Birthday Weekend

The day before her actual birthday which fell on a Sunday this year, we had baseball and t-ball in the morning.  This was Isaac's second game.  He had one earlier in the week and he was the starting pitcher.  Unfortunately, I totally missed it because I was driving kids around to their choir practice, etc.  Brian was there though and got a picture of him pitching.

Then we were all off to a birthday party for a friend at a park.  I got a couple pictures from that.  It was a relaxing afternoon away from all the travels and moving stress.

The next morning after Mass, Genevieve got to open her gifts from the family with a bunch of homemade cards from her siblings.  She got a crochet bag with hooks and a how to crochet book from us.  I can not believe my sweet girl is twelve already!

After lunch, Daddy took the four oldest to a professional soccer game in Kaiserslautern.  He had purchsed tickets ahead of time and invited a good family friend along.  Everyone had a buddy!  (Bob and Judah stayed home with Mommy and watched a special movie that they got to pick out without any big kids trying to sway them one way or another.  I got some much needed cleaning and organizing done in preparation for our upcoming move.

They walked to the train station in our village.  What a beautiful place we live in!

They didn't have fun at all or anything like that, right?  I'm pleased to see my gentle Genna smiling and so full of happiness on her special day.  We did decide as a family to do an actual birthday party for her the next weekend since we are moving and it would get all our friends together one more time at least.
