Gigi and Poppy came to visit and meet Roman. They thought he was something special which we all know is totally true. They got some good cuddles in between feedings.
Roman finally got to meet his BFF, his new cousin, Chloe! At this time when they were so young, they would take naps in the same room whenever we were over at my sister's for Sunday dinners. Roman is bigger than her here, but the way he is eating he'll be outweighed by her soon enough.

We hosted a table at a pro-life benefit featuring Abby Johnson as the speaker. We invited a bunch of friends that had never seen Abby speak before and it was so great! Roman pretty much was a doll minus the refusing to eat more than an ounce the whole night. He wasn't upset, but he had been declining on his amounts that he would drink from his bottle for the past two weeks at this point. If we left the house he would barely eat anything, and, needless to say, I'd been leaving less and less often during feeding times.

| This is a friend of mine who helped inspire me and encouraged me all through the adoption process. She's one of my pro-life heros! I can't tell you how many times she talked me through different issues while waiting to be matched. She adopted her little girl two years before we got our cutie. It's her eighth child and the third child that was adopted. She's a wonderful person with a huge heart and a love and respect for all life. |
