Back from our pilgrimage...

We just arrived home from our six days in Rome and I have seven hundred pictures to sort through. No exaggeration! However, I had to share the most exciting part of our visit right away. We were so blessed to receive tickets to the Epiphany Mass from a priest friend of ours, and the pope actually blessed all three of our children personally on his walk down the aisle. Here is a picture of it, but my dear husband was a little excited and just managed the tops of Genna and my heads in the picture as Pope Benedict XVI is blessing Hannah. What a blessing! It brought tears to my eyes. A perfect end to a perfect pilgrimage.
