Third (and FINAL) Party in the Series

Our homeschool group put on the annual All Saint's party last night. We had Mass, a litany of the saints combined with a procession of the children in their saint costumes, pizza dinner, and saint stations hosted by the teens.

The stations were lit with tiki torches around a giant back yard. Each station had special saint prayers and candy for the children.

This year my children all went in separate groups. Brian escorted Isaac to keep him on track, but the girls went in their own groups without mom and dad. Isaac had shed most of his costume at this point.

Genna told me later that one of the teenagers told her she was very patient. Genna told her that she was practicing to be a nun. She is such a sweetie! Drew screamed the whole 20 minutes drive home and she sat next to him patiently singing the whole time. I told her that whatever God has for her life, she will be great at it because she has such a patient loving heart. Her reply was, "But Mom, I really want to be a nun!"

I didn't get any pictures of Hannah that weren't fuzzy last night. Oops! She had a great time too!

I am totally sick of parties and worn out beyond all recognition! Isaac actually woke up this morning and asked when the next party started today. What?! No more parties, dear. And I mean it. At least until Hannah's birthday party.

WOW! 3 saint parties...above and beyond the call of motherly sainthood. Your kids costumes were the best! so at least you got great use out of them. Thanks for coming!
