L week ends our fall semester of Kindergarten and Preschool. We mainly talked and read about Abraham Lincoln and Leonardo Di Vinci. Plus, we read picture books about lemonade stands, libraries, leaves, llamas, and lynxes. Today I gave the girls a math assessment, which they both aced. Genna is exactly halfway through the Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons book.
It was a relatively uneventful week, except for today when we were surprised by some snow when we were upstairs making the switch from math and handwriting to reading.
It didn't stick around too long though. The temperature went above freezing for the first time all week and melted the snow a few hours after it started.
I think we are all in need of this break!
