Oh, Christmas Tree!

We went today to chop down our very own Christmas tree. Brian has always wanted to do this and we have that orchard nearby (where we got our berries and our pumpkins) that lets you do the cutting. We packed up hot chocolate and went a huntin' for the perfect tree.

The perfect tree!

Brian cutting it down. (He has Isaac's hat on, the one I made, because it was so cold and it was an extra in the car. The girls got a kick out of that, with the tassels and all. Isaac wasn't too thrilled that he had to share his hat at first.)

"I am man. Hear me cut down my own Christmas tree."

Earlier in the morning, we attended a Knight's of Columbus Breakfast with Santa at our church. The kids all got pictures with him. Hannah would not sit in his lap and almost didn't get a picture, but Genna said she would go stand with her. When asked what she wanted, Hannah said, "I don't know, whatever you want to bring." Genna said a doll, and Isaac said more Thomas trains.
