Babies

 Outside my bedroom window, right by our deck in the back is a nest of baby  birds with two very devoted parents.  The kids are loving checking on these guys every day.

The leaves were blocking the view of the babies here.

You can kind of see one of the chick's heads in this picture.

Both mom and dad bird get very mad and loud when ever we get remotely close to the nest.  They try to distract us and draw us away from the nest.  I love their protective instincts.
