An early birthday present for Hannah!

Hannah got her birthday present early. We found a bunk bed set at a garage sale and snatched it up. The set came with a bunk bed, a book shelf, and a dresser. We are not setting up the top bunk yet. Well, technically, we are setting it up, but not as a top bunk. Apart the bunk bed makes three beds, so we are using the extra bed for guests for now. I kind of felt badly giving her furniture for her birthday, but I don't anymore. She was sooooo excited! She was jumping up and down saying, "Ooh, look at my dresser! O, look at my new bed! My new bed! My new bed! Yea!" How fun! There was another bunk bed at the garage sale that I wanted more, because it had a canopy and a slide from the top bunk. However, it was a little more expensive as well! Brian made the more practical decision and chose the one that came with the dresser and book shelf! Thank goodness for level-headed Daddy! I always wanted a bunk bed slide when I was little, so I was torn!

"How do you like my new bed and book shelf?"

"I am almost three years old!"

Here are a couple of cute pictures of the girls individually. You know I can rarely get one of them both looking at the camera and smiling at the same time!

Hannah, just the way she likes...HAPPY!

Where did "A Pew All Our Own" come from?

My husband and I were sitting in church before Mass shortly after we were confirmed into the Catholic Church. Both of our gazes drifted to a pew close by where a family filled up the whole pew. Granted it was one of the shorter pews, not a full length one. I can't remember who said it to whom, but one of us said, "I hope we fill up a pew with our family one day." We agreed it would be wonderful. And so that is what we're hoping for...a pew all our own.
