Here's a winner! This hat was made from an abandoned sweater of my husband's and some left over yarn in about fifteen minutes. Super cute hat. The model might help a little.



And here's a loser! This took hours and turned out looking like a big waste of time. It was supposed to be for one of my many, many pregnant friends, but I don't think it is gift material. I think I have an idea for a modification of this, hopefully not another time waster. I will be keeping this one though because I think despite it's ugliness, it will make a fine toy...someday.

I'm so impressed with the sewing and the crocheting! Seriously... I wouldn't have even attempted that toy.
