This was our first real art project from the book Drawing with Children. The medium is permanent marker which is what this book recommends. I think they turned out very well. Genna has trouble waiting until all the instructions are given and sometimes goes off on her own. No surprise there, right? Even though this is fine with most projects, the point of this book is to teach children to draw a likeness when looking at an object. So I encourage her to be patient and follow directions carefully. Hannah's is at the top, my example drawing is in the middle, and Genna's is on the bottom.
